Brick Walls

1. Lucretia (?) Morgan  -  Lucretia is the mother of Barbara Sophia Morgan (m. Josiah Calvin Watson)  and the second wife of Charles Morgan b. abt 1801. She was born about 1815 in South Carolina.  In 1850 Lucretia is living in Choctaw County, MS with her husband, Charles; his son and daughter, Charles and Minerva, and her and Charles's children: Barbara and Elizabeth. In 1860, she is married to James Davis and they are living in Choctaw County, MS. And that is all I know. Who were her parents? Where and when did she die?

2. John McIlheron - John was born in 1767. I believe he came to America in 1807 through Allegheny Co., PA. (Making him the only ancestor that I have found who came after the War of Independence) This was apparently a popular immigration port. He found on the 1830 census in Winchester, TN, where he lived until his death in April of 1843. Where was he born? Who where his parents?

3. Judy? Brown - Judy was born about 1809 in Georgia according to the 1850-1880 Federal Censuses. She married Frederick Brown. They lived in Choctaw County, MS and raised a family there. That is all of the information I have on this 4th great-grandmother. SOLVED!!

8. M. A. Robertson Smith - aka Martha, Mandy Robison, Armanda Robinson. Martha was born in 1846 in South Carolina. She was the wife of Francis Marion Smith. I believe her family may be from Tippah County. One of her descendants believes she was Native American and while I have found a shaky DNA connection to a Cherokee family in Tippah and Marshall counties I have not been able to find the ancestor that connects me to that family.
